Maverick Concerts is pleased to present Creative Music Studio™ co-founder Karl Berger in an all-star music
tribute to fusion jazz great Don Cherry. This improvisational music presentation will explore themes from Cherry’s visionary recordings
as wellas pieces by other composers that followed his lead into world fusion.

“This exciting, heart-felt music strikes me as being as fresh now as when Don Cherry created it more than fifty years ago.
His world-musical approach, which he called ‘multikulti,’ incorporates folk songs and themes from around
the world in an absolutely carefree and spontaneous process of collective improvisation and individual expression.
No brainy concepts here - just pure joy and an exalted level of creativity.” - Karl Berger
